Constance H. Kitson, 90, of Punta Gorda, Fl., passed away Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte. She was the daughter of Clinton and Alice (Goodwin) Stone, born July 30, 1919 in Providence, RI. Constance was a native of Cranston, Rhode Island and spent most of her adult years in Rhode Island and Massachusetts raising a family of 4 with her late husband William J. Kitson, Sr.
Connie is survived by her 4 children: William J. Kitson, Jr. (Andrea) of Rio Rancho, NM; Gail Kitson of North Port, FL; Gloria Macleod (M. Douglas) of North Attleboro, MA; and Donald E. Kitson (Donna) of Punta Gorda, FL; grandchildren: William J. Kitson, III of Perrysburg, OH; Robert J. Kitson of Escondido, CA; Bonnie Kalinowski of West Allis, WI; Mike Knecht of Oak Creek, WI; M. Scott Macleod of Attleboro, MA; Tamara Kitson Harris of Melbourne, FL; Tanya Kitson of Henderson, NC; and Tasha Kitson Menard of Joliet, IL; eleven great grand children; and a brother Edward Stone (Marcia) of Sun City, AZ.
A memorial service will be on March 27, 2010, at 1 p.m. at the Congregational United Church of Christ Church, 1201 Aqui Esta Drive, Punta Gorda, FL with Rev. Bill Klossner officiating.
