Harold David "Bud" Frazee, Jr., 83, of Punta Gorda passed away on March 6, 2010 after a brief illness. He was the son of Harold D. and Greta (nee Sackett)Frazee, Sr., born October 17, 1926 in White Plains, NY. A long time resident of Syracuse, NY, he moved to Punta Gorda in 1986. He was a lifelong member of Pebble Hill Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon, an elder and was a faithful servant of God. He also attended the Congregational United Church in Punta Gorda where he was a member of the stewardship committee. Bud was a long time member of the Rotary Club of DeWitt and was active in Boy Scout Troop 154; in addition, he participated in numerous community service organizations in both New York and Florida. An avid sports fan, Bud was extensively involved in Syracuse University sports where he served as vice-president of the Hardwood Club and helped establish a basketball scholarship fund. He was a member of Nomads, a traveling band of golfers. He established the Frazee Fund through the Central New York Community Foundation to support a variety of community based organizations. He served in the US Army during WWll and retired as the president and owner of Lindstrom Electric Corporation in 1984.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Cynthia Rose-Frazee; children, Pam (Jim) Kedenburg of Watertown, NY, Linda (Pete) Geatrakas of Baldwinsville, NY and Tim(Katie) Frazee of Syracuse, NY; and six grandchildren, Megan, Kate, Gregory, Michael, Emily and Matthew. Bud was predeceased by his first wife, Harriet Frazee, in 1994.

A celebration of Bud's life will be on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Congregational United Church in Punta Gorda.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Bud's name be made to TideWell Hospice of Charlotte/DeSoto Counties, 1144 Veronica Street, Port Charlotte, FL 33952.
