John J."Jim" Apple, Jr., 63 of Punta Gorda passed away suddenly on Friday, February 26, 2010. He was the son of Betty (Elso) and John J. Apple, Sr, born October 20, 1946 in Mt. Clemens, MI.
Jim served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Campaign and attended the University of Maryland. He was the owner/operator of Apple Art and Creative Images in Punta Gorda for 20 years. Since hurricane Charley he worked as a business relations manager for Southwest Florida Workforce Council.
Jim will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Linda (nee Martin) of Punta Gorda; daughter, Beth; brothers, Gary and Craig both of Port Charlotte; nephew, Michael Hottle of Wilton Manors, FL and many aunts, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A service in celebration of Jim's life will be at 11:00am, Saturday, March 13, 2010 at San Antonio Catholic Church.
Memorial donations may be made to Salvation Army.
