Maria Bittner, 60, of Rotonda West passed away July 10, 2010. She was born June 24, 1950 in Azore Islands to Joseph and Maria (Leite) Farias. Maria grew up in Fall River, MA and moved to this area from Schenectedy, NY in 1978. She was a former deli manager for Publix and attended St. Francis of Assisi. Maria's kids were her life and her hobby was her dogs, Rafael, Abbey, Star and Moose.
She will be greatly missed by her husband of 36 years, Lawrence; mother, Maria Farias of Fall River, MA; sons, Daniel of Rotonda West and Michael (Jessie) of Port Charlotte; brothers, Joe, Gene, Tony and John Farias all of Fall River, MA and grandchild, Jasmine.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 7:00 pm, Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. A funeral mass will be at 10:30am, Friday July 16, 2010 at St. Francis of Assisi. Burial to follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Park, Englewood.
