I miss you dearly and there are days when I can't believe you are no longer with me physically. Thankfully, you are with me in spirit. I met a man that looks like you at the DMV and he has scleroderma. We were able to talk at length about it and I was able to encourage him. Last week, I met a man with your name and the week before that, I met a woman who is terminally ill and on her way to hospice. I was able to talk with her, pray with her and for her and encourage her. I feel your spirit watching over me daily and guiding me. I'm so thankful that I was able to be with you up until the end. While I don't like the way things happened, I am so thankful that you are in heaven, at peace and no longer feeling the way you were feeling in your final moments. Those were not positive or healthy feelings and no one deserves to feel that way; especially with all that you were going through.

One day I will see you again in heaven. Until then, keep smiling down on me and keep talking to me. I'm listening.

Your big little sister,

Edith

Dear Angela:

“Hold on to your memories,
and let them guide you
during this time of sadness.
Find comfort in knowing
you were a special part of
a well-lived life.”

That's what I'm doing.

Sincerely,

Your Sister in-law

Dear Family,
Knowing that your beloved brother, uncle, cousin, son and friend knew our beloved Lord and Savior makes the grieving so much easier. One day very soon, you will be reunited with Dalton at that great rejoicing with our Maker. I did not know him in this life, but I certainly look forward to meeting hin in the air. Take courage, keep heart and do not weep and mourn as those who have no hope. HE IS IN A BETTER PLACE. God bless you all.
